Shipping & Returns

At Aylah Fine Jewellery (AFJ), we’re confident in our master jewellers, talented designers and skilled gemologists to create you stunning excellent quality jewellery. The time and talent taken to craft your piece(s) means you will receive high quality article(s) with longevity. 
However, in the unlikely event you wish to return your purchase, we’re happy to help, and the following returns policy applies:

  • You have 14 days to request a return. You must return the item(s) to us within 10 days of notifying us, Therefore, the item must be returned no later than 24 days after the delivery date, in its unworn and original condition without any damage, and with all accompanying documents and materials.
  • Item(s) must be unworn, undamaged, and in saleable condition.
  • Item(s) must be returned with original packaging, including all paperwork along with diamond/gemstone certification or grading reports - packaging, paperwork, certification and grading reports must also be undamaged - diamond/gemstones certification are very expensive, time consuming and labour intensive to replace, therefore we reserve the right to apply replacement fees of £350 fee per certificate for any damaged or missing certification.
  • Improperly packaged items will be refused upon receipt. It’ll also be refused if there’s missing content
  • Earrings (and other pierced jewellery) cannot be returned due to hygiene reasons
  • The jewellery must not be missing any of its original diamonds, gemstones or any other stones
  • The jewellery must not have been adjusted by any other jeweller or anyone else
  • Bespoke commissions, personalised items or engraved items are excluded from our returns policy, unless faulty or otherwise agreed in writing
  • Orders where the diamond or gemstone is priced above £10,000 (excluding VAT) are excluded from our returns policy, unless faulty or otherwise agreed in writing
  • If you return your order and exchange it for another item, that item will be non-returnable/non-refundable, unless there's a manufacturing issue.
  • To initiate the return process, please contact your AFJ consultant or email us on info@aylahfinejewellery.com with the subject ‘RETURN’ followed by your order number

If your purchase meets the above criteria a refund will be issued within 14 days of return, we aim to fulfil the refund within 7 days, but can take up to 14 days.

If your order arrives damaged or faulty (through no fault of your own), we can repair this at no cost for yourself.

Items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty.

Any replaced or repaired rings are non-returnable and non-exchangeable. In the event you exchange your item for a replacement, have had your diamond reset in another ring or have requested for a new diamond to be set in your ring - your order will be exempt from being returned or exchanged in the future.

Bespoke purchases

As stated above bespoke purchases, personalised or engraved items are excluded from our returns policy, unless faulty. 

Preparing your return

Returns can be made in person, or via delivery. To return an item in person, please book an appointment or contact us. For returns via delivery, we ask that you follow these important steps to return your AFJ purchase.

  • Email us on info@aylahfinejewellery.com, call us on 020 3196 1630 or contact your consultant directly to discuss your return. You must do this before returning your item.
  • When confirmed with your AFJ point of contact, you should package your item with the original packaging (to ensure adequate protection in transit). This must include your diamond or gemstone certificate.
  • You should avoid writing anything on the package or within the address that alludes to the value of the package contents, including ‘jewellers’, ‘diamonds’ etc. Instead, address the package as follows:
    ‘FAO name of your consultant’ or ‘AFJ’, 67 Bounces Road, N9 8JE
  • We ask that you return items within the UK via Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed, making sure the package is tracked and insured. You should also obtain proof of posting. Please ensure you mark the parcel as fragile and clearly write that it is not to be left with a neighbour or on the doorstep. For orders returned from outside the UK, you should choose a reputable courier of your choice, ensuring the package is tracked and insured, and obtain proof of dispatch.

AFJ reserves the right to reject a return if the above steps are not carefully followed, and is therefore not liable to repair, replace or refund the item.

Your legal rights against faulty products are not affected by the returns policy or T&C’s of sale
